Sangria
Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time 5 mins Chill Time: 2 hrs. - overnight Servings: 8
Ingredients
½ c Simple Syrup (1/4 c water and ¼ c sugar)
1 bottle of red wine
½ c Brandy 
1 c pomegranate juice
1 tart/sweet apple, cored and sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 quart of strawberries, quartered
1 pomegranate, seeds separated out. 

Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar. Whisk together and heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
In a 2-quart or larger pitcher, add 1 bottle of red wine, 1/2 cup brandy, 1 cup pomegranate juice, sliced tart/sweet apple, sliced orange, quartered strawberries, and separated pomegranate seeds.
Pour in the cooled simple syrup and stir to combine.
For the best flavor, refrigerate the pitcher overnight. If you don't have that much time, you can chill it for at least 2 hours before serving.
After 24 hours, remove the orange slices to prevent a bitter taste.
