1 tomato, sliced thinly
1 avocado, sliced thinly
6 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
1 small can of Heinz vegetation beans, drained of as much liquid as possible without rinsing
2 c sauerkraut from the deli, drain and wrung dry

Instructions
Preheat the oven to high broil and place the top oven rack 4-6 inches from the broiler element. Keep an eye on the sandwiches while cooking to prevent burning.
Place hamburger buns with the inside facing up on a large cookie sheet lined with tin foil. Broil for 1-3 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and spread mustard to taste on each bun, and top with one slice of onion. Return to the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes until the onion is cooked.
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the onion and broil until it's bubbling for about 1-3 minutes. Remove from the oven.
On top of the cheese slice, add a layer of dried sauerkraut and a layer of drained vegetarian beans. Broil for 1-3 minutes to heat the beans and sauerkraut. Remove from the oven.
Add a slice of tomato, a slice of avocado, and another slice of cheddar cheese on top of the vegetarian beans. Broil until cheese is melted for about 1-3 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with soup, potato, or pasta salad.
